Who We Are
National Transfer LTD is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We are a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17334734, with our registered office at 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.
For any question about your data, contact us at enquiries@nationaltransfer.co.uk or call 01293 922 043.
What We Collect
When you book a journey: your name, email address, phone number, pickup and drop-off addresses, travel date and time, return journey details, number of passengers and bags, chosen vehicle, any extras such as Meet & Greet, any notes you add (for example a flight number or mobility needs), your acceptance of our Booking Terms, and the fare and payment status of your booking.
When you send an enquiry through our contact page: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the topic of your enquiry and your message.
When you use our website: if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects information about how you use the site, such as pages viewed, device and browser type and approximate location. We also remember your cookie choice on your device.
We do not store your card details. Payments are handled entirely by SumUp on their secure payment page.
Information About Health or Mobility
If you choose a wheelchair accessible vehicle or tell us about mobility needs or a health condition, the law treats this as health information and protects it more strongly. We use it only to arrange a suitable vehicle and driver for your journey, and share it only with the driver or operator carrying it out. We rely on your explicit consent, which you give by providing it for this purpose. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us, although we may still need to keep the booking record itself.
How We Use Your Data
To quote, arrange, manage and carry out your journey, including passing the necessary journey details to the driver or licensed operator carrying it out.
To take payment and send your booking receipt and confirmation by email.
To reply to your enquiries, amendments, concerns or complaints.
To keep business, accounting and tax records.
If you accept analytics cookies, to understand how our website is used so we can improve it.
Our Lawful Basis
Contract: processing your booking details is necessary to provide the journey you have asked for.
Legitimate interests: replying to enquiries and running and protecting our business.
Legal obligation: keeping the booking records our private hire operator licence requires, and the financial records the law requires.
Explicit consent: for health or mobility information, as explained above.
Consent: analytics and reviews cookies, which are only used if you allow them. You can withdraw consent at any time using "Cookie settings" in the footer of every page.
Who We Share Data With
We share only what each service needs to do its job:
• SumUp — processes your payment on its own secure checkout page. We receive the payment status and a transaction reference. • Google Maps Platform — the addresses you type are sent to Google to suggest matching addresses and calculate journey distance and time. • Lovable, our website platform, and the service providers it uses — store booking and enquiry records and run this website. See Lovable's privacy policy at lovable.dev/privacy. • Airtable — our booking management system, where paid bookings are recorded so we can arrange your journey. • Our email delivery service, provided through our website platform — sends booking receipts, confirmations and internal notifications from notify.nationaltransfer.co.uk. • Drivers and licensed operators — receive the journey details needed to carry out your booking. • Crawley Borough Council — booking records, when they ask to inspect them under our private hire operator licence. • Police or safeguarding authorities — only where the law requires it or to protect someone's safety. • Our accountant and professional advisers — where needed for our accounts and legal obligations. • Elfsight — displays our Google reviews on some pages, only if you allow Reviews or tap 'Show our Google reviews'. When it loads, your browser connects to Elfsight, which receives your IP address and browser information. • Google Fonts — our website's fonts load from Google, which receives your IP address and browser information. • Google Analytics — only if you accept analytics cookies.
We do not sell your personal data.
